The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) was founded in 1985 to help credit unions explore the use of CUSOs and the delivery of non-traditional products and services. Over the years, NACUSO’s focus has evolved to helping credit unions form wholly and multi-owned CUSOs and participate in collaboration and the cooperative business model. Today, NACUSO serves over 300 member organizations as an education organization and network for collaborators and innovators, amplifying the voice of credit unions and CUSOs by providing resources to help people collaborate, identify opportunities, build businesses, and find solutions.

NACUSO enjoys tremendous system support and strategic thought leadership fueled by some of the credit union system’s most collaborative and innovative leaders and organizations. A nimble team of 4 employees operates in a fully remote capacity, connecting well with one another and with members through digital channels and effective use of technology.

Under the leadership of new President/CEO Ronaldo Hardy, NACUSO is preparing for transformative change, ready to Inspire Innovation, Cultivate Collaboration, and Strengthen Sustainability for the organization and for our members.

NACUSO is growing! We are seeking a dynamic professional to serve as our Head of Innovation. This is a unique opportunity where you will combine your affinity for credit unions with a strategic mindset and approach to uncovering innovative solutions that move our industry forward.

The Head of Innovation will be outgoing and adept at connecting with others. A track record of strategic execution and creativity will help you make a big impact on the credit union system. This highly visible role will develop and lead FinTech and CUSO incubation. Your vast network in the credit union and/or FinTech space, your stellar communication skills, and your ability to make meaningful connections will result in new partnerships. As the primary brand ambassador for the organization, the Head of Innovation will represent NACUSO through thought leadership and networking, as well as in consulting engagements with members.

One of the most critical functions of the Head of Innovation is the oversight and management of the NACUSO Incubator. Focusing on startup FinTechs and CUSOs, you will build and maintain a FinTech/CUSO incubator that provides NACUSO members support and resources to innovate. You will bring together ideas, funders, and product testers to ensure meaningful participation and scalable growth for the Incubator.
