Town & Country Credit Union ($683M, Minot, ND), one of North Dakota’s largest credit unions, serves Minot (pop. 50,000), Fargo (pop. 125,000), Stanley and Kenmare, North Dakota, and the families, farmers, neighbors, and businesses who make these communities thrive. We are seeking our next President/CEO to guide our team of more than 180 employees in fulfilling our mission of positively impacting those we serve.

We live our mission in three ways: positively impacting our members by putting them first in our decision-making and providing the best service (in the form of great rates, dividends, and rewards); positively impacting our employees by creating a strong culture and investing in our team through professional development and competitive benefits; and positively impacting our communities through donating time and money to local causes in all our markets.

The President/CEO is based in Minot, a town that still embodies the closeness of a small town, even with a growing economy with expanding agriculture and energy sectors. Located in North Dakota (Business Insider’s 2017 top pick as the Best State to Raise a Family), Minot is home to an active state university, thriving arts community, and excellent outdoor recreation, including the State Fair, a full symphony orchestra, and access to more national wildlife refuges (62) than any other state.

You will succeed in this by bringing your passion for people, community, and financial well-being together to serve our members. A history of active listening to understand community needs and an understanding of how to align the talent and resources of your team members to innovate to meet those needs will prove you have what it takes to lead our organization. Financial background and business acumen will guide your strategic decision-making.

Your visionary leadership will inspire 180+ employees whose development you support as you align the talents of high-performing individuals to create a collaborative team, unified in making a positive impact by living the credit union philosophy within policy and regulatory boundaries. You will enjoy working collaboratively with a Board of Directors to set organizational direction, finding fulfillment in facilitating strategic discussions, and providing education and development opportunities that create greater engagement.

Knowledge of how to serve the diverse socioeconomic needs present in a rural community built on both energy and agriculture industries may help you identify how to make the impact that matters most.
